Wish You A Happy New Year

In this time of transient and suffering
falling of economy, peace and prosperity
the time that leads to intolerable pain
but one solace my dear Lord your holy name

I again offer my prayer to your lotus feet
please make us happy within heart and soul
just giving your blessing that leads to devotion
only devotion to you can take out these pains
only singing your holy name can make us happy
O dear Lord, please bestow your mercy
to so many suffering hearts who ever they be

Please fill our heart with laughter and happiness
whatever we think or do that may lead to you
and that is only my prayer in this new year
may lord bless everyone through out this world
let the bud of devotion to blossom into golden flower
wishing everyone happiness and prosperity in new year!

Freedom

I can see freedom
that is in my eye
only sing thy name
in the heart of mine

Looking for the time
that never ending light
brighten like a sun
but not every while

Only one thought
that lives in my mind
when will I be free?
though only for a while

Then it for once
to feel thee freedom
I put everything
whatever it burden

Sermon On The Mount

Here is some spiritual wisdom I wrote to one of my co-worker who is currently leaving this company in his memory. He was very good listener and we used to discuss sometimes spiritual stuffs.

Hi Tom,

In your final departure hour this is your "Sermon on the Mount". I would just like to explain you the meaning of "You are my heart and soul". It is a common phrase normally recited at the time of marriage. It is similar to "You are my body and I am your soul. I am your body and you are my soul..". But think for a while. Is it the real thing that happens in our material life? Could we find the real soul beyond this bodily realm? Mostly likely not. Thus in this material world we are only always feeling the existence of body in separation without feeling existence of soul within the body. That is only because our material sense can perceive and see the existence of body very easily compare to knowing the true existence of soul.

Why it is so? It is so because as the above phrase states, if you want to see your soul, you have to see it on the body of a person other than you. In Vedic sense you can see image of God in every living entity including human and animals. That's what you are stating here saying that "you are my soul" or rather " I am your body, you are my soul". So your soul is the reflection of your image on other living entity. Just like you see your image in front of a mirror, similarly your soul is reflected as an image from the other person or living entity. How this reflection would be looking that depends on the mirror that is the image on consciousness of another living entity. If the mirror is very clean you can see your image as very clean and perfect. But if the mirror is not so clean, you can see your distorted image. Seeing your own image on other you can become amazed, angry or even realized. But is it that you look like?

It depends. If you can come with perfect mirror, the same you may look different. Thus the image of your soul depends on the quality of reflection of your own consciousness through the consciousness of another person and living entity.

But here is another thing, if you are really ugly then even irrespective of mirrors, you will look ugly. Unless we understand these two things we can not understand the real meaning of "you are my heart and soul" or the famous phrase "You are my body and I am your soul. I am your body and you are my soul..".

Again if you are not ugly but still looking ugly in front of the mirror than you can do two things. Either clean the mirror if you can or if the reflective layer is defective than you should be one mechanic who can fix the defect. Since most of us is not mechanic that's why most of us can do the external cleaning which may or may not help to see the perfect image. But a person who has knowledge of reflective layer he even can fix the mirror itself. In spiritual sense these are the person who are very highly qualified spiritual masters.

Since scripture says that every man or woman is image of God. And since God is most beautiful person, our image must be same beautiful as God. But in reality we are not knowing how beautiful the God is and how much less beautiful we are compare to God. That's why to compare ourselves with respect to the image of God, how beautiful we are, we must have urge to see the image of God. Unless we are not able to see the image of God our measurement of beauty is defective.

That's why it must be our goal in life that even though we are not all qualify to see the image of God but we must find such person either who had seen image of God or we must try ourselves to see the same beautiful image of God to compare ourselves. If we understand that it is very unlikely to become successful to see image of God then our approach should be to follow the scriptures or injunctions of qualified person to whom God has given His special mercy. To find such person should be our second goal. Including Jesus, even many after and before Jesus had seen the same image of God.

Coming back to my poetry "And United.." The meaning is

A person who is wise, can find his own image everyday every where within other whom he knows or even not knowing. This image is always image of true self that is happily married with its own self like "You are my body I am your soul". But once visible, instantly got separated because of this material nature or material condition of life. Then again the same person starts searching that beautiful image what he has met suddenly once during his search in life. Suddenly he finds it again which is more beautiful than before. Thus he is attracted to this more and more beautiful to be getting united. In this way the search continues until he finds the supreme image of self that is image of Lord within his own self...

Within The Seed

In the soil of your love I am one seed
I sprout and grow up like a tree
with branches, flowers and leaves
my roots pierce the earth
holding it within my grip

I am in love with you
so much so that I deny your existence
I am in, out and within you

and outside I am the vast sky
I am your body, heart and flesh
I am your blood and smiling face

I am grown up now
becoming aged and aged
with lots of branches and dry fruits
ripened in the sunlight

Then I started searching
one new face with new look
beautiful and bright
but until I finish this search
I meet you again

You are now new and fresh
looking gorgeous with beautiful smile
on your heart I look for a while
then I found within you

and united!

A Wonderful Light

A wonderful light
that passes through all hearts
always comes back to touch this ground
with a memory of love and service
that leads to the path of God

Where is that light?
once I felt within every heart
that brighten every soul like one sun
pierce my heart and mind, altogether

Then I stopped thinking for a moment
I call thy name with a sound OM
only in the motion of this universe,I synchronized

But love pouring on after that
making a sound in heaven
that vibration and rhythms
for the creation of this universe,one within all
